Boston College beat Wake Forest today what the No. 6 seed Virginia Tech in the ACC Tournament next week and put it on the side of the Duke of the console. Here's how the Hokies' schedule look like next week in Greensboro:
Clock 21.00 EST Thursday against Georgia Tech (ACC Network)
State Winner Friday 21.00 clock IS vs. Florida (ACC Network/ESPN2)
Clock 03.00 EST on Saturday in the semifinals (ACC Network / ESPN)
Final clock Sunday 13.00 EST (ACC Network / ESPN)
The Hokies have both Georgia Tech and Florida State beat any chance, are the NCAA Tournament and might have to reach the final on Sunday to feel good about their position on the bubble. Not easy, with only eight scholarship players.
I think the No. 6 seed, the Hokies a favor. I saw Night Games will probably make a team more focused than in the first games that we play in the ACC Tournament Tech in recent years. I'm not the records before me, but I bet the Hokies' record in day games against the night in the tournament, and day and night.
(Update: Since joining the ACC Virginia Tech is 2-5 in games that start on five clock, including seed loss No. 12 Miami and No. 10 seed NC State and 1-1 in games that start after 5 o'clock in the ACC tournament. The two victories against the Miami game day is here.)
There's also a chance a team that Tech probably play in the tournament on Day 2 at Florida State. If Tech is the No. 5 seed Clemson and had had to play on Day 2, a victory is not so many favors as a victory over the former USSR would be.
Medium indicates the Hokies a chance to make their way from the bladder to play. Now they should enjoy.
