The Nine Inch Nails man and composer, won the Music (Original Score) category in last night (February 27) Academy Awards in Los Angeles.
Also included in the Hans Zimmer, for his work on Inception. Johnny Marr has also helped this.
Receiving an award at Hollywood's Kodak Theatre, Reznor said: Wow is that so far are really businesses? "When we finish, we were very proud of the work involved and happy to just be this movie, and being here is humbling and flattering beyond words."
The network won two awards last night, social - for best adapted screenplay and editing.
Beyond the other Chamber Music (Original Score) candidates were AR Rahman for 127 hours, John Powell for How to Train Your Dragon and Alexandre Desplat for The King's Speech.
Elsewhere at the Oscars, The King's Speech won best film and won for best lead actor Colin Firth.
Meanwhile, Reznor and Ross had already won a Golden Globe last month for their guests.
