Lexington, Kentucky - The State of Michigan and monitoring field program ended Saturday night action at the invitation received by the Kentucky Wildcats in Lexington, Kentucky Zach Hill impressed during his first collegiate first-place with a 18.24m throw casting men fired on.

Hill was by four teammates who also recorded top-10 performances at the event. Aaron Ide was fourth with 16.82m and Brad Wentzel finished fifth with a 16.24m throw. Jay Gillespie and Lonnie Pugh completed the MSU pitcher in the case of throwing 15.92m (seventh) and 15.89m (eighth), respectively.

Ashley Lawrence was the top pitcher in women's shot put, turning in a mark of 14.43m. Catherine Daniels finished ninth in the event with a throw of 14.09m.

Codi Mattix led the cavalry men on the day he tied for second in the pole vault with a height of 5.05.

Kurt Schneider was the top rider for MSU along with a jump of 6.94m.

Jessica Ting shear led all female high jumpers for the green and white, the event has finished eighth with a height of 1.71 m.

In the 1-meter race, the male rider finished second to fourth place. Leading the way was Ben Miller with his second place 4:11:15. Aaron Simoneau was right behind Miller in the third (4:11.82) and Joe Di Mambro, finished fourth (4:12:13). Isaiah Vandoorne Beatty and Spencer finished sixth and ninth and give MSU five of the top 10 finishers at the event. Vandoorne clocked at 4:12.90 and finished in 4:14:10 Beatty.


Rebekah Smeltzer was the top runner in the event she finished sixth at the event with a time of 4:54:59. Tiffany Evans Smeltzer came in seventh place with their brand 4:56:49.

Yury Ratomski leading sprinters in both the dash 60 meters long and 200 meters. Ratomski opened the day in 60-meters with a time of 6.82 for the third. He followed his performance during the day with a fourth place finish in the 200 meters, the time 21.55. Todd Atchison Ratomski connected in the 200 meters with a ninth place from 22.45.

Erica Mann was the best sprinters in women of her time of 7.56 in the dash 60 meters, good enough for eighth place. Mann also pointed to 24.77 for 10th in the 200-meter race.

Leslie Aririguzo completed the 60-meter hurdles with a 10th place time of 8.56.

Amelia Bannister was third in 2:12:05 in the dashboard of 800 meters with his time. Joe Banyai was the top male MSU where he finished in 1:52.67 for fifth place.

In the 3000 meter race, and Josh Green each Carlie McAlary sixth place in their respective races. Green turned in a time of 9:38.77, while clocked at 8:18.91 to McAlary.

MSU in the last event of the weekend, Jaelynn Pryor, Noriah Williams and Alysson Bodenbach man turned in a time of 3:53:17 in the 4x400 meters relay. Quad MSU 10th overall total down.

The Spartans are back in action this weekend to invite Notre Dame on Friday and Saturday, January 22-23.
