ATLANTA (AP) - School districts in Georgia for a fourth straight day Thursday closed because the roads are ice.
Most districts in the metropolitan Atlanta have canceled classes
The districts are closed: Cobb, Gwinnett, Fayette, Forsyth and Barrow counties. The list also includes Atlanta, Marietta and Buford schools.
In northern Georgia, which has been hardest hit by snow, the areas include Union, Fannin counties and cities.
Bibb County schools were open Wednesday, as the roads in central Georgia were mostly clear.
City and State to thaw icy roads crews working conditions throughout the Atlanta area, but many are still impassable.
