During a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon on a trip to Las Vegas earlier this month, UFC star Chuck Liddell proposed to his girlfriend, professional poker player Heidi Northcoot, and she said yes!

“I just feel so happy!” Heidi tweeted, Monday.  “Thank you for all the love and support.”

The couple, who have been dating for more than a year, met through a mutual friend at a party.  They have not yet set a wedding date.

However, Heidi happily showed off her huge new diamond engagement ring while visiting Miami Beach with fiancé Chuck on Monday.  The Daily Mail reports that “the happy couple sat out a brief rain shower on sun loungers, before taking pictures of the rainbows it left behind.”

Previously the lovebirds made headlines earlier in 2010 when they both appeared naked in an online viral advertisement for Reebok.  Heidi and Chuck were pictured working out together, wearing nothing but their Reebok trainers.
