Rayne, Louisiana (AP) - The weather that spawned deadly tornadoes in southwest Louisiana to move east threatening tornadoes possible in parts of Alabama and Florida and heavy rainfall on the coast Est.
The National Weather Service said the storm weakens. Tornado watches were not yet the southcentral and southwest northwest Alabama and Florida, are now exposed.
And forecasters say some large eastern cities could get up to two inches of rain through Sunday.
Earlier today proposed a tornado, the town of Rayne, Louisiana, killing a woman when a tree fell on his house, and injured 11 others. More than 100 houses were damaged, destroyed many of them.
The storm system then moved east and quickly soaked New Orleans, the delay or cancellation of many celebrations of Mardi Gras.
