Beverly Hills - The King's speech may have been excluded from the Academy Awards, but Oscar has been an unexpected boost from a young filmmaker comes to higher education.
We caught up with Luke Matheny, who won the Oscar for Live Action Short Film at the Venice Family Clinic Silver Circle fundraising gala Monday night.

Luke Matheny never expected an Oscar for a film in live-action short, he has earned in the film school.
"It was my film student at New York University Graduate Program film," Matheny said, "God of Love," which he directed, wrote and played.
