Serene Branson
Although a Grammy last night recap CBS reporter Serene Branson began his speech rhetoric. Then came the thought loses all his train, and the camera quickly cut. The first reaction of the Internet: Branson was drunk.
It was a perfect storm for the tweeter and a number of websites distributing video - salivating, no doubt, bring traffic spikes as clips. A journalist blog kept track of these publications are mocked. Fox News in particular, seemed to revel in Branson "river".
But the real story of what happened is not laughing. It turns out that Branson has been slippage rushed to hospital shortly afterwards, and it is suspected that she suffered a stroke. (Note:. Video may be disturbing, some viewers)
UPDATE: CBS News is saying that despite reports otherwise Branson was not admitted to hospital. After cutting the cameras, emergency workers found the journalist tested and that all his vital signs were normal.
Articles include an interview with a doctor who is not involved in the treatment Branson that the episode could have been something to be called transient ischemic attack, or said, "mini-stroke."
"I am a little surprised," said Dr. John Krakauer, associate professor of neurology and neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, told CBS News. "Honestly, I would have accepted."
