Newark - The Dalai Lama is not the only celebrity summit plans to come to Newark peace education this spring.
Organizers say the actress Goldie Hawn, the three-day event in mid-May to visit. Hawn Foundation focuses on education in early childhood.
Newark Summit is organized by New York-based Tibet House U.S. and Drew A. Katz Foundation.
The summit will be resolved in peace as a means for individuals, communities and nations to resolve conflicts and problems concentrating. Iranian Nobel Laureate Shirin Ebadi is also planned.
Newark Mayor Cory Booker said the conference will bring together national and international leaders with students and local activists to fight against violence to join.
