The Vatican said Benedict XVI had findings of the Church that John Paul approved a miracle after his death, a requirement for beatification. A nun, who suffered from Parkinson's disease, and the late Pope, "she said, her affliction was cured after praying to John Paul shortly after his death.
Beatification is the first of May, the first Sunday after Easter, the Vatican said.
The decision, John Paul, inspired millions of people around the world with its hard line against communism and its resistance of 1981 after an attempt to raise, is a good news for the Roman Catholic Church, for many allegations of sexual abuse of priests was destroyed, religious and other religious.
Many of these attacks happened while 27-year pontificate of John Paul. But much of the blame for the church is slow and largely defensive response to complaints has been postponed at the Vatican today.
According to the death of John Paul II April 2, 2005 sign pilgrims and people attending his funeral in St. Peter's Square signs demanding "holiness at the moment," a sign of their devotion. A few weeks later, Benedict XVI said he would immediately initiate the process of canonization, mandatory rules, which died of a five-year wait after a person requires.
In late 2009, Benedict was the official recognition of John Paul II "heroic virtues" and awarded him the title "Venerable." After his beatification of Pope end will be "blessed" as.
For holiness is confirmed by a second miracle is needed.
Reports surface last year that at least some investigators doubt the claims of Church Sister Marie Simon-Pierre, a French nun, were added to Parkinson's disease through the intercession of John Paul cured.
But the court concluded that surveillance of these investigations that the nun had healing of degenerative disease, no further explanation - in other words, it was a miracle.
Although the accelerated process of canonization are rare, they are not without precedent. John Paul himself has said Mother Teresa on the fast track to beatification after his death in 1997. It has been said in 2003 saved.
