Concord, NH and twenty-five years after the space shuttle Challenger explosion in New Hampshire are the years to honor the teacher Christa McAuliffe in the Discovery Center that bears his name. And students at the school where she teaches visitors are special assemblies.
The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center hosts a free reception for teachers and their families on Friday, died on the 25th anniversary of the astronauts seven days, including the teacher in Concord, in the Challenger explosion.
An administrator of NASA, that's life and legacy of McAuliffe and a documentary created to speak of the anniversary will be displayed. Afteward the public is a tribute to 19.00 clock in the center planetarium guests.
In addition, students from Concord High School to attend special meetings in the auditorium named after McAuliffe.
