Sony Ericsson is to delay the start of Yendo Walkman mobile phone, foreseen for the United Kingdom to achieve, like other markets last month. Plans are now in a statement in February, due to unspecified problems with the device's software. Ben Padley, the company representative confirmed the delay in an interview for the Dutch side NieuweMobiel.
The device is the first touchscreen phone based on Sony Ericsson's Walkman brand and will be used to keep his focus on music. It uses the same interface as the four corners X10 Mini and other Android devices. The equipment has an input range of 2.6-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 320 Ã 240, EDGE connectivity and a two-megapixel camera.
Sony Ericsson is expected to announce its plans for a version of the Yendo United States. It is planned to launch the device in the United Kingdom and other markets in Europe, Latin America and Asia.
