60 minutes gave us a first glimpse of the Broadway production of Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, on Sunday evening and it was beautiful ... or stupid. Music U2 Bono and The Edge seemed interesting ... or emphatic. The often delayed, expensive musical director, Julie Taymor has the better of the opening could have enormous economic front: a sympathetic profile by correspondent Lesley Stahl, Bono procurement plans by some of the songs he co-wrote, and some cool photos of various Spider-Men on son zoom around the theater.
The Minutes report 60 was night time on the show with his performance previews on Broadway on Sunday. It would be absurd and unjust verdict on Spider-Man segment on the basis of 60 minutes, but this view was fascinating, no matter what the tariffs of music at the box office. Taymor, the average has defied skeptics who believed that their stylized lion making a film version of the mass of other would build a king, confessed, anxiety and delighted to meet the challenge of the 'ol web-spinner in the moment.
Bono sings songs like that night seemed exciting and that's what the music of U2 is derived, is not it? - He wakes up listeners. The thing is that Bono is not singing on Broadway melodies, and it remains to be heard, sounding like Bono heroic anthems when they are performed by artists from Broadway.
Based on 60 minute segment, Off the Dark is not to be afraid off to see Spider-Man son when falling on the paying customers - probably a good thing: for every ticket buyers worry reassuring that Spidey will fall on a bit heavy. And the simple fact that not once during the one segment that the phrase "With great power comes great responsibility" suggests that music might be a cool break in the film franchise, it would be a wise decision.
More Green Goblin and other rogue masks Taymor created looks pretty cool.
Are you excited to Broadway Spider-Man, what do you think of the minute segment 60?
